A single sperm whale, was spotted in Broadford Bay, Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides on the early afternoon of Christmas Eve. The sightings reported by the Nuttall family who observerd the animal slowly swimming on the surface for some time.
A sperm whale was found on the beach at Burghead early hours of Sunday the 10th of December. The 40ft whale was reported to the Coast Guard by a member of the public. The postmortem examination found the whale to be in poor condition not having fed for a long time. Unfortunately the
