A group of eight Risso’s dolphins were sighted on the Isle of Man on the 12th of December. Jackie and Graham Hall saw the group passing Port St Mary early on in the morning. The news soon spread and the entire Island was alerted to the sightings by a local radio station. Three R
A pod of five killer whales were seen on the 2nd December from a local ferry by the skipper, Ronny Dyer. The whales were spotted 1 mile west of Point of Sleat, the Southern Western tip of Isle of Skye just after midday.
Two, possibly three, humpback whales were seen from the Cork to Swansea ferry on Friday 23rd September, half way over the crossing, in the waters of the Celtic Deep. Anthony Swann, a passenger on the ferry spotted and photographed the whales. Three humpback whales were also seen furth
