Join us for the 2022 season in Cardigan Bay.
As an intern, you gain work experience, make a difference and meet lots of wonderful likeminded people.
Interns join us in picturesque New Quay every year for periods ranging from seven weeks to six months to gain valuable field skills in marine mammal science and assist in studying one of the largest semi-resident population of bottlenose dolphins in the UK.
The project is based in New Quay, West Wales, and supports the conservation management of the bottlenose dolphin, harbour porpoise and grey seal populations of Cardigan Bay, monitoring their abundance, distribution, reproductive success and population structure using a combination of vessel-based and land-based surveys.
