The Sea Watch team will be at Whale Fest this weekend at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
Come and visit our stand which will be on the balcony overlooking the hanging life-sized whales and dolphins! Chiara, Geanie, Wendy, Robin, Kris and Steve will be available to answer all of your questions on the Sea Watch Foundation’s research, how to become involved in the Sightings Network, become a Sea Watch Supporter, what cetaceans can be seen in waters near you and much more!
Things to look out for at the Sea Watch stand:
- The Sea Watch cetacean “head in the hole”. Put your head in the hole, take a photo and compete for a spot on the Sea Watch website homepage!
- The UK sightings game. Do you have what it takes to become a Sea Watch Observer? Test out your species ID knowledge at the stand!
- Adopt a Cardigan Bay Dolphin!
- ID-guides (booklets, CDs and videos for sale)
- Dolphin cuddly toys
- Post cards
You could also catch Robin’s “Species ID workshop” which is being held at 16.00 on Sunday 28th or Steve’s talk on “20 years of sea mammal watching in Sussex” which is being held on 15.00 on Sunday 28th .
