It’s ‘Global James Bond Day’! Film lovers across the globe are celebrating 50 years of James Bond on the big screen, while here in New Quay we’re celebrating 9 years of Bond, our adoptable dolphin!
Bond is a sociable male dolphin who has been seen regularly in Cardigan Bay after first being identified in 2003, and he’s a popular hit with the ladies!
Bond the dolphin has more than just his name in common with James Bond. Penbryn Beach in Ceredigion, featured in the 2002 Bond film ‘Die Another Day’, is one of Bond’s favourite places to swim!
Bond is one of our 6 adoptable Cardigan Bay dolphins. Our adopt-a-dolphin makes a great gift for a loved one, and the money raised from our adoptable dolphins goes directly to funding research into the Cardigan Bay dolphin population.
