This year’s National Whale and Dolphin Watch was a great success. Thanks to the efforts of observers all over the UK, we managed to collect a total of over 690 sightings which beats all previous years!! This is a fantastic record and just goes to show what we all know already – that British seas brimming with marine wildlife, all you need is the right conditions and a bit of patience!
All the data from this event will be processed and included in a report which be available in November but it’s not too late to submit your sightings or effort data for the period running from the 27th July to 4th August.
