Two weeks ago, seven year-old Emily from Devon had the fantastic idea of dedicating some of her free time to cleaning Crow Point beach in North Devon, near Braunton in order to raise funds for the Sea Watch Foundation.
On the 26th January, I did a beach clean. I did it because the beaches have loads of litter. I raised £200 for Sea Watch Foundation. On the beach, I found a Croc, a comb, a toothbrush. I think it’s wrong to leave your rubbish on the beach. It spoils the beach. Next time, I’ll find get more people to do it with me so that we get more rubbish off the beach.
The money raised by Emily’s initiative will directly contribute to the research conducted by the Sea Watch Foundation in order to monitor and protect British whales, dolphins and porpoises. Thanks Emily!!!
Why not follow Emily’s lead and organise a beach clean of your own?
