A group of at least 14 Risso’s dolphins were sighted during a Sea Watch Foundation’s survey trip in the southern part of Cardigan Bay. Several individuals were photographed and the group included at least one calf and even a new born with foetal folds still visible.
An unusually large pod of bottlenose dolphins have been reported 18 miles off Brighton, by 2 wreck fishermen. The 30 dolphins remained with the boat long enough to be filmed. A big thank you to Alan Kirby for submitting this rare sighting along with some amazing film clips.
