Several pods of up to 12 bottlenose dolphins have been spotted along the South Devon coast from Torquay to Berry Head during the first week of April. They were leaping and came up to 100m close to the shore.
Two minke whales were sighted 2.5miles off Rame Head, near Plymouth in South Devon on the morning of 8th of April. The whales were seen near the Hands Deep dive site by local divers.A group of short-beaked common dolphins was also seen on the same day, not far away. Thanks to Tony Gil
A pod of fifteen spermwhales were spotted between Latheron and Berriedale in Caithness on the 10th March. The pod was sighted and reported by a local fisherman John Irvine. The whales were seen approximately one mile offshore and at least one calf was sighted. The whales were logging
