Orca Watch Online is back
If you can’t join us at Orca Watch in person, you can still join in online…
What’s on!
Saturday 28th May, 7:30pm. Our traditional ‘Evening of Talks’
Enjoy an introduction to everything happening at Orca Watch 2022, and presentations covering all things orca, including:
- a conversation with Hugh Harrop about the recent orca activity in the orca watch region
- an update from Julia Sutherland on her work with Ecopreds – studying the ecological consequences of orca predation on seals
and
- a talk on how the annual Orca Watch event helped one Sea Watch alumni, Dr Chloe Robinson, take her to work with cetacean conservation and the Southern Resident killer whales.
We also are honoured to be presenting the world premiere of “Truluck” – a documentary film following the life changing events that led window cleaner Steve Truluck to discover his passion for helping others fulfil their dreams of seeing orcas.
Tickets for the livestream of the event are available at Eventbrite – go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/335229710087 or copy and past the link into your browser.
