MEET THE TEAM

Lucy Kew joined Sea Watch Foundation in July 2025 to work on the Caru’r Cefni Project, having worked for a wide range of voluntary organisations in Wales over the past 20+ years. Caru’r Cefni aims to raise awareness of how rivers link to marine environments, focusing on the Afon Cefni on Anglesey. The project will make new contacts with communities and organisations to support biodiversity improvements and research environmental governance models. Previously Lucy has managed environmental community projects, provided advice and guidance to voluntary sector groups, worked on youth development programmes and established cross-sector partnerships. She is local to the area and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Community Development.
