MEET THE TEAM

Ben Murcott joined Sea Watch Foundation in April 2023. Ben has volunteered for SWF since 2012 and has now taken on the Sea Watchers Môn post and will be responsible for recruiting and supporting our team of volunteers on the Island of Anglesey, Ynys Môn. Ben joins us after a long and varied career in Animal Care, Wildlife Conservation and with Internships including The National Sea Sanctuary, CIRCI and the CRRU. Working within the Zoo Conservation industry along with work as a MMO and Sea Bird surveyor, Ben is confident working with a range of volunteers and will help deliver this exciting project with The Sea Watch Foundation. Volunteers will be supported through our marine mammal survey course and encouraged to become ambassadors for their own section of coastline on the Island creating a strong network of confident volunteers to support the conservation of our incredible marine mammals.
