Tony Osborn

Tony Osborn has been a Trustee of Sea Watch since 1992 and Chairman of the Board for many of those years. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1970 working in general practice and since 1983 managing his own firm in West Sussex bringing his broad legal knowledge and management experience to assist the Charity. He has known Dr Peter Evans, the Director and driving force of the Charity, from 1962 and participated in many of Peter’s earliest scientific ventures including his very first expedition in 1967 to study seabirds in the islands off County Kerry.
Tony has always been a keen amateur naturalist, his latest obsession being the study of moths; other activities include his vegetable patch, singing in choirs and small groups, playing piano and organ and acting as Churchwarden of his local Church.
